Edward D. Hofheimer Theater first opened its doors in fall 1981 with William Shakespeare's "The Tempest." And this fall --- as Virginia Wesleyan prepares for the spring 2019 opening of the Susan S. Goode Fine and Performing Arts Center --- Hofheimer Theater is closing this mainstage space as it opened, with a revisit of the Shakespearean classic.
嫩草影院's fall 2018 production of "The Tempest," directed by Batten Professor of Theatre Sally Shedd, is on stage October 24-28. Performances will take place Friday and Saturday (Oct. 26-27) at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday (Oct. 28) at 2:00 p.m.

VCIC Makes History with New Hampton Roads Office at Virginia Wesleyan
For the first time in its 83-year history, the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities (VCIC) has expanded its physical presence beyond its Richmond home base, setting up an office on the 嫩草影院 campus. Community members are invited to join VCIC and 嫩草影院 at a special event to celebrate this historical milestone on Monday, November 5, at 3 p.m. on the steps of 嫩草影院's Allen Village.
